Consultant Psychiatrists

Clinical Leadership & Diagnostic Oversight

Our Consultant Psychiatrists lead all diagnostic decision-making and provide clinical oversight throughout your care.

They are responsible for:

  • Medication prescribing and monitoring
  • Treatment planning
  • Clinical governance

  • Medico-legal assessments where appropriate

ADHD Specialist Nurses

Specialist ADHD Assessment

Our ADHD Specialist Nurses conduct detailed, structured ADHD assessments using recognised clinical tools and neuroaffirming approaches.

They gather:

  • Developmental history
  • Functional impact
  • Clinical history
  • DIVA-5 assessment
  • ADHD rating scales
  • Collateral information where appropriate

Their assessments form a key part of the diagnostic process before consultant review.

Clinical Psychologists

Understanding Behaviour & Mental Health

Clinical Psychologists help people understand how thoughts, emotions and behaviours interact.

Support may include:

  • Psychological formulation

General Practitioners (GPs)

Shared Care & Ongoing Physical Health

For patients who enter a Shared Care Agreement, GPs play an important role in supporting long-term ADHD treatment.

Working collaboratively with our Consultant Psychiatrist, GPs may provide:

  • Repeat prescribing under shared care
  • Physical health monitoring
  • Routine medical oversight
  • Communication with our clinical team
  • Ongoing patient support
